One of the important things I take into consideration before I take a job, is the personal development opportunities in this job. I believe the learning process in any job is for the benefits of both the employee and the company as well. From day one, I start my learning process from colleagues, environment and even from books. In many case, I make agreements with my manager on a development program that includes also training and assignments.
