Final accounts are the financial statement of an organization made up at the end of an accounting period, usually the fiscal year.

For a manufacturer, the final accounts consist of (1) manufacturing accounts (2) trading account (3) profit and loss accounts and (4) profit and loss appropriation accounts commercial company's final accounts will include all of the above except the manufacturing account Together, these accounts show the gross profit, net income and distribution of net income figures of the company.

Benefits:

Its required by the regulatory authorty for a public compnay to maintain the books of account. if you don't maintain legal action will be taken against you.

if you apply for a loan from bank they will require financials of your compnay for last3 to4 years to see whether you'll be able to repay back or not.

by having wrttien everything in papers you can put restrcition on the intention of the employees to fraud.

by preparing your accounts you'll know whether you are earning profits or bearing loses

by preparing you'll have all the asset liabitlites recorded with you. so no one can misstate or clain anything against your assts.

you mean the nominal accounts that should be closed at the end of period like revenue ,expenses and gain or loss .
they are closed to income summary .
the benefit is to starts with a zero balance at the beginning of a new accounting period because the strategy of selling could change >>like manage in selling price

Final accounts helps you to know financial performance ie net profit or loss, financial positiion through balance sheet and cash flow through cash flow statement
