How can I learn and train to deal with fiber optics to install, to repair and to manipulate?

Please allow me the folowig: befor any practics, I recomend to inforce theoratical base: Physic of light, medium mathematics, fundamentals of fiber optic communications (cables and systems).
After that we can speak about practics.

there are many books on optics and the theory of photonics that should considered to gain depth knowledge on that area of Science.

 

A nice way to put that knowledge in practice is to join some photonics group for a training.
