If you got the opportunity to work far outside your specialty major but with higher salary and benefits, would you accept ?

I will accept if the work is related to may education or expertise in any way. 

In my opinion, "interest" is the most parameter. The job must satisfy you. If money satisfy you rather than work doing through the job, why not. :)
