What are the qualities and qualifications of a good Financial Manager?

7. Self-management. 

8. Ease with technology. 

9. Intellectual curiosity. 

. Compatibility for both independent and team work. 

 

I believe there are two questions embedded in your original question: Qualities and qualifications of a good manager and the same for a finacial expert.

 

Good Managers shoud be: Knowledgeable, Lead by example, Fair, Charistmatic and Inspirational

Financial Experts should be: Witty and obsessed with figures, Punctual and respects Deadlines, Rational and Strategical Thinker, Unbiased with no Fear to give his imparial opinion and Honest

Put both traits together and you will have an Avatar of a perfect Financial Manager 

I guess knowledge and loyalty are most needed traits. Qualifications wise A Bachelor degree and a CFA degree should qualify a person to become a good manager however this may not be true all the time

firstly bachelor degree + CFA  or CPA +5 Years Experience At least

1)      High Integrity,2) high level of communication , analytical , forecasting , negotiation and man management skills,3) visionary with acumen for growth and value maximization4) domain knowledge with a certification or membership and5) well organized , sensible , dependable and well-timed,6) appetite for technology

QUALITIES of a good Manager is a combination of good problem solving skills,leadership skills,up to date (ease with technology),communication skills,and he must be confident and loyal.

Qualifications: Knowledge and awareness is more important than degree.

financial manager should have quality to maintain the financial system risk free,easy and rapid so far as raising of the funds and its withdrawal,payment and transfer are concerned.

Qualification of financial manager should be as per the scope and work of financial system.
