General Conditions of Contract are basically standard terms which a buying organisation uses in any contract. These are applicable on all types of procurement. However, in certain cases, there is requirement of specific terms to be included in each case separately. Such conditions are known as special conditions and vary on case to case basis. Special Conditions overide the General Conditions, even if it has not been specifically mentioned in the contract.

GENERAL CONDITIONS ARE THE MINIMUM OF EACH TENDER SPECS, WHICH ALLOWS COMPETITION BETWEEN BIDDERS . BUT IN PARTICULAR CASES YOU HAVE TO GO TO SPECIAL CONDITIONS  REGARDING BIDDER C.V  (PARTNER GOLD CERTIFIED ETC) OR PRODUCT SPECS ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS .

AT THE END OF THE DAY IT IS NOT GOOD IDEA TO BUY THE CHEAPEST PRODUCT WHICH WONT COVER YOUR NEED .
