My question is actually targeted for the professionals working in UAE. As we all know UAE is highly populated by job doing expats, so we meet a lot of people daily who are here on a visit visa for job search. So my aim is to bring the real practical ideas of job searching by all the professionals who are currently employed in Gulf, to the fresh job seekers in the market. Anyone can participate and share their personal experience of Job hunt from any part of the World.

2. Reference by having someone who refers you

The sources to get a job :

1. Try to send your cv direct to the company or you have to go to there to fill an application 
2. You can provide your cv to the recruitment agencies 
3. You can use your relatives to provide your cv in their companies 
4. You can post an advertisement regarding your qualifications and the position you want to get

Word of mouth is one of the most powerful tools in marketing. Whether you are marketing yourself or a product the effect can be very benificial. You need to speak first to your circle of friends and relatives and then other collegues that you meet. If you know anyone who has friends in recruitement companies or HR departments in various companies you stand a much better chance than just emailing on the Job posts.

Mobilize your contact and network. I mean circulate your CV among your friends and relatives in Dubai

Drop your CV and regularly visit recruiters. They are the first to smell any vacancy.

Give yourself a cut off time, i.e. 6 months and if nothing works, exit from there and pick up a job in your country and keep trying from there.

With sensible planning and patience, you will definitely find your dream job.
