What is the main reason of corrupt any file?

There are many conditions that may cause and electronic file stored on an electronic device. The computer stores files on its storage device. The storage device will contain hard disks that are accessed by a mechanism reading or writing to that disk. 

Any disruption in the read/write process while the disks are turning will cause damage to the hard disk, creating bad sectors where the data is stored.

Disruption occurs when there might be a power outage, or a surge, during the read,/write process or if the computer is disturbed by movement during the process.

Viruses also affect executable files and can severely rewrite code maliciously.

Todays world of solid state hard drives makes drives greatly resilient, since there are not moving parts.

Corrupt files can be caused by a number of system errors.

Thanks for the invitation. It may occur due to unusual system shutdown, forced termination of the file, viruses in your system etc.

Most reasons of this case are from bad using of the operation system during the shutdown and start-up and some time happens from the active virus enter the system during the download process. I recommend you to use  a good antivirus system as Kaspersky- latest version to a void any crash or corrupt your files.

It is important to know where the file is stored...If in USB then take care of USB , If on Hard Disk then you must have legal version , Virus scan and backup of it. If you upgrade your system or the version of the software the chances are that it might not support or work so always check before upgrade.
