I personally use Adobe Premiere because it works well with other Adobe suite programs.
Both video editing tool are best it depends up on video editors. Most amateur video shooters use corel video studio that have less tool options than Adobe Premiere For broadcast, film and short movies they use Adobe Premiere for edit video, multi cam, layer, color correction, composing and more. Adobe Premiere have lots of tool for editing.
Davinci Resolve is a great node based editor. Premier is also popular. For basic editing FCPX.
From my personal experience its Adobe Premiere , because i worked on projects before on adobe premiere .
Adobe premier is more preffered
