Do you feel that in GCC companies are taking advantage of the slow economy to cut salaries and benefits of their employees?

 I am not sure on GCC company salary standards but recently some job profiles I have seen with very minimal salaries for Manager posts which normally an executive is offered so slow economy is certainly forcing companies to lay off , cut salaries and benefits not only in GCC but every where globally.
