Inbound : Study Inbound Check sheet; Understand condition of vehicles e.g. shortages, defects etc.; Verify accurate Good Receipt entry into SAP; Co-ordinate between port clearing department & insurance; File insurance claims; Follow up for claim payments; Allocate trailer movements in order to efficiently run new vehicle inbound logistics.3. Domestic order fulfillment and coordination : Monitor total order requirement from branches; Verify physical movement of vehicle to PDI in line with order requirement; Monitor SLA adherence; Coordinate among HODs, Service in charge and PDI for prioritizing critical deliveries & resolving delivery issues; Analyze deviations from SLAs, un-fulfilled dispatches, return of vehicles etc; Direct and guide team on corrective actions; Direct inter-branch transfers of vehicles in order to efficiently deliver vehicles to domestic and group sales.4. Fleet Management : Monitor operational efficiency measures (fuel-consumption, up-time of fleet, adherence to maintenance schedules, driver productivity etc); Direct corrective actions (training, maintenance etc); Verify completion of ROP registration & insurance formalities; Provide suggestions on improving operations to HOD in order to efficiently manage the fleet operations.5. Logistics & distribution management : Consolidate data on vehicle movements; Analyze for efficiencies in routing; Direct optimum routing of vehicles; Analyze transit damages; Suggest preventive measures; Verify SLA adherence on deliveries; Study sequence of activities in logistics and distribution activities; Identify opportunities for improvement; Direct corrective actions in order to improve operational parameters on logistics and distribution.
