INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
DuPont OLED within Electronics & Industrial Business has a Chemist opening in Dongtan, Korea. DuPont OLEDs is seeking a highly motivated synthetic chemist with specialist experience in heterocycle and/or aromatic small molecule synthesis. OLED Synthetic Chemist is the key role in development of new materials and process development and scale up and discovery of new synthetic route of OLED Materials required for mobile, TV and various high-end displays including flexible and transparent devices.
Process optimization and development.
Responsible for synthesis of OLED materials.
Scale up (Pilot scale).
Coordinate all design of New Materials.
Resolve technology challenges through focused scientific methodology, multidisciplinary approach, and innovative thinking.
Create and secure intellectual property for DuPont.
Promote strong communication with all team members.
Ensure implementation of constructability concepts.
Identify and take corrective action (with appropriate approval) to ensure the project goals for cycle-time, cost, and quality are met.
Your Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry
Preparation and characterization of novel materials using multi-step organic synthesis methods.
Experienced process development and scale up and process optimize bearing various synthetic skills.
Quick learner for the new chemical reactions.
Must be able to go on a business trip domestic and abroad.
