Role Overview:
As a Data Engineer at Rapsodo, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our data systems. You'll work closely with a team of experts to design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines that support our analytics and business intelligence efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
- Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals.
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Extract, load, and transform (ELT) processes optimization.
- Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.
Requirements:
- Residing in Izmir or Ankara
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Data Engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), programming (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
- Experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g.Airflow)
- Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Looker)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and understanding of streaming data tools like Kafka, Pub/Sub.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
