The position in a nutshell: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of our esteemed organization, working with one of our prestigious clients, a leading bank in the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of scalable, secure, and well-designed software products from research and design to implementation. You’ll be working closely with designers, analysts, quality assurance, and other teams to translate each design into real-life products.
Responsibilities
- Strong foundation in React Native and be able to develop complex mobile applications using React Native
- Deep understanding of mobile app development, including UI/UX design principles, performance optimization, and app architecture
- JavaScript experience and be able to write clean, modular, and maintainable code
- Experience using Redux to manage state in React Native applications
- Experience integrating with APIs and be able to design and develop API interfaces for mobile applications
- Familiar with the process of deploying mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play Store
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications that work on both iOS and Android devices
- Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for React Native applications.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools and be able to set up and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines that are specific for mobile deployments
- Problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in React Native applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience
- Experience developing software with TDD automation
- Flexibility for travel
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software development principles
- +5 years of experience in enterprise software development.
- Strong knowledge and preferably professional experience in one or more programming languages, standards and frameworks, such as: React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX, React, Redux, Angular, Vue, Apache Cordova, Ionic
- Experience in developing cross-platform responsive web applications is a plus
- Experience in software development tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA is a plus
- Knowledge of distributed systems and technologies is a plus, such as: HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON,Relational and Non-Relational Database Systems, Asynchronous Messaging, Message Passing, Actor Model, Distributed Caching, Cloud Computing and Cloud Application Architectures
- Agile Software Development knowledge and experience is a plus
