Context :

ADP Ingénierie is the Architecture and Engineering subsidiary of Aéroports de Paris (ADP). ADP Ingénierie is in charge of airport projects and major equipment made beyond the Paris region and has been involved on more than 700 airports in over 100 countries on every continent.

Mission:

Strategic Airport Planning is one of the core skills and fields of excellence of ADP Ingénierie, that has served numerous and major airports around the world to make the right choices for their strategic development, in Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas. We are promoting an integrated planning approach that builds upon the unique 360° expertise at ADP Ingénierie, combining airport planners, designers, and all airports systems experts, with the support of Groupe ADP expertise for operations experience. ADP Ingénierie is looking to strengthen its Airport Planning Expertise in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa business unit and therefore is looking for an Airside Planner.

Responsibilities:

The Airside Simulation Specialist will directly report to the Airside Planner, and to the project manager for projects he will be involved in.

In the frame of his mission, the Airside Simulation Specialist will work in an intercultural context, dealing with customers from all over the world. Its capacity of adaptation and understanding will be much appreciated by ADP Ingénierie customers. Business trips abroad will be required to collect data and present intermediate and final outcomes to the customers.

The Airside Simulation Specialist duties will be:

• Ensure collection of the necessary data
• Collect, analyze and understand clients objectives

In particular, the Airside Simulation Specialist will have to perform the following tasks:

• Perform airside compatibility and performance studies, inter alia:
  • Standard compliance (ICAO, FAA, etc.) and optimization
  • Performance sizing (runway length, RET, etc.)
  • Aeronautical studies / obstacles assessment
  • Approach / Departure procedures analysis (PANS OPS/TERPS)
  • Aircraft related performance studies
• Perform dynamic Airside simulations with simulation software such as :
  • CAST Airside
  • AirTOP

• Respect ADP Group policy and guide-lines for Ethic and Compliance.
• New technologies/innovations sharing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 4-5 years experience in Airport Planning
• Trained in dynamic airside simulation software (CAST Aircraft is a plus, and any other software is appreciated)
• Strong analytical skills
• Team work ability
• Autonomy, Curiosity is a must
• Knowledge of programming tools/software/language is a plus
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
