Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: To enable the assessment and credit decisions relating to unsecured credit facilities, credit cards, Personal loans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Retail Credit Appraisals Ensure high and accurate Pre-screening of Cards / Loans applications and analyze credit proposal within the policy guidelines and within acceptable timeframe as per agreed SLA. Ensures discrepancies/ Fraudulent applications are escalated to line Manager and internal Fraud control Unit. Conducts telephonic and / or field verification to check the authenticity of information and documentation provided by the applicant. Prepare detailed notes for recommendation and escalate to next level for accurate decisioning. Coordinates with internal customers Business Unit, CAD and collection to ensure adherence to guidelines and that all requests are attended to in a prompt and professional manner and within the agreed timelines. .
Policies & Procedures
Ensures the Preparation, Maintenance and recording of all documents and data relating to loans and Credit facilities in the pre and post approval stages in a systematic manner adhering to requisite legal formalities and internal policies.
Self- Management Responsibilities
Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year. Identifies training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended. Strives to achieve with the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role. Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through related trainings.

Number of credit proposals reviewed. Turnaround time for reviewing applications. Adherence to policies, processes, and procedure of FAB Minimal or nil error rates

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, management, Banking or any related discipline.
Minimum Experience
Minimum of 1 years of experience.
