Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Applications Business Unit Manager to lead our applications division.
The ideal candidate will be the owner of strategy, GTM, overseeing the development, growth and profitability of Applications BU to drive CNS’ business objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of business processes.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the applications business unit aligned with the overall company objectives.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Ensure that applications meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and address concerns.
- Build strong relationships to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and manage the budget for the applications business unit.
- Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability. Implement cost-saving measures while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other business units, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align strategies and priorities. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration across the organization.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the applications business unit. Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- A proven experience in software development, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of business processes, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and drive results.
