Position overview
The Critical Facility Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure and systems within a facility, such as data centers, telecommunications hubs, power plants, and other high-reliability environments. This role focuses on the efficient and reliable operation of mission-critical systems, with an emphasis on preventing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (electrical, mechanical, or similar). Data Center Certification (Operational & Maintenance) from Accredited institute. Strong knowledge of critical facility systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and backup systems. Proficiency in onsite installed control, monitoring S/W knowledge, data center process and policy, system wide knowledge Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols. Experience in performing preventive maintenance of systems * Previous experience in critical facility operations, data center management, or a similar role is preferred.
