Compliance & Regulatory Consulting | Dubai, United Arab Emirates | 21010127 As the Director in our Compliance Consulting for Dubai, you will be responsible for heading our growth initiatives for the outsourced compliance support business in the UAE and the Middle East and ensuring oversight and quality assurance for services being delivered by the team.
You will be expected to deliver growth both individually and working with colleagues to identify new business opportunities and take responsibility for development of marketing and product initiatives.
Your solid technical expertise and knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks, DFSA, FSRA/ADGM and UAE onshore regulators, SCA, CBUAE, VARA etc., will allow you to ensure the deliverables and services provided are consistent with our positioning as a provider of excellence in our work.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain partnerships with regulators and other key partners Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the UAE Compliance Consulting Team Manage a team of consultants engaged with clients providing outsourced compliance and MLRO support to offshore regulated entities Ensure timely preparation of high-quality proposals, pitch presentations and other Business Development opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compliance solutions Devise, manage and supervise compliance monitoring and testing programs and supervise a team of staff Develop and maintain an in-house program to keep up-to-date inhouse IP and relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for clients Conduct and supervise desktop reviews either remote or onsite for clients ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements Work closely with Managing Directors to provide input on strategy to deliver growth, take responsibility for delivering the revenues in the business plan Take an active role as a mentor to more junior team members to support in delivery of services to clients and invest in their career development at Kroll Devise and implement training program on Compliance, AML, and Governance topics to clients and supervise delivery Ensure excellent standard of deliverables from the team: reports, presentations and effectively communicate areas of improvement to each staff member
Requirements:
Experience of 9-15 years of relevant work Demonstrable track record of building a book of clients providing ongoing compliance support In depth knowledge and experience with offshore DFSA and/or FSRA and familiar with SCA, CBUAE and other UAE onshore regulators Oversight and management of projects and ongoing support conducting compliance risk assessments, compliance monitoring activities and delivering compliance manuals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders Excellent professional written English, Arabic is a plus Authorised DFSA or FSRA individual would be an added advantage but not a pre-requisite Previous experience of management of services of a team of compliance consultants required
