Directing and managing the department's staff in
accomplishing their tasks.
Define and monitor the operational goals, objectives and
programs of the Department.
Prepare reports on the overall performance of the
department and submit them tothe
Executive Director.
Review all periodic reports prepared by the Department to
ensure that they are completed within the specified time frames.
Review all services and work of the department and ensure
their quality.
Ensure that the performance of all tasks and the conduct of
employees are consistent with the policies and procedures of the organization.
Inform
the CEO ofthe progress of work under
his management.
Ensure that
all resources have the competencies and skills required to perform management
tasks .
Review and
discuss improvement points for the evaluation process with evaluators, if
needed, and adopt periodic evaluations of management staff.
Identify the
required skills and experience and nominate the nominated employees to attend
the appropriate training programs (in coordination with the Human Resources
Department).
Ensure that
management policies and procedures are documented and adhered to.
Identify
technological needs that ensure efficient and cost-effective management
processes in coordination with the concerned department.
Directing the activities of the
management of public hygiene projectswith the aim of achieving the set objectives
and doubling operational efficiency. Perform supervisory tasks and exercise
financial and administrative powers according to the level determined by the
senior management of this position.
Developing and implementing the department's strategy for managing public
cleaning projects in line with the needs
of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and doubling the performance of the department. This
includes setting policies, procedures and guidelines for these services and
supervising their implementation, identifying the basic initiatives and key
performance indicators of the department, preparing the annual budget,
including the department's needs of
financial, human and service resources, developing operational plans and
programs for the department and preparing short- and long-term action plans.
General supervision and guidance of
activities related to the outsourcing of
public cleaning services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This includes determining
the scope of work required, supervising the preparation of tender documents,
technical evaluation of companies' offers and negotiating with them to ensure
that the terms of the contract are consistent with the policies and
requirements of the department, monitoring the performance of companies to
ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the standards,
policies and instructions approved by the department, reviewing,evaluating and preparing special recommendations.At
the prices of providing services to ensure the financial feasibility of
projects.
Carrying out other tasks
relatedto activities in public cleaning
services, including following up on changes in the relevant laws and
regulations, monitoring project cost differences in terms of costs compared to
the approved budget and schedules, taking measures to correct any deviations in
the work plan, ensuring compliance with health, safety and security
requirements in accordance with the approved regulations and regulations in
this regard and dealing with any violations in this regard, conducting sudden
field inspection tours of work sites, attend committee meetings, conferences,
seminars, asked, etc.
Assess, approve and prioritize work
in accordance withthe department's
directives, project objectives and workload. This includes identifying the
department's resource needs, selecting different project teams, planning and
prioritizing work, setting project completion schedules, ensuring that project
objectives are achieved and adhering to safety standards and legal
requirements.
Ensure that the external parties
contracting withthe Department haveall their needs of machinery, equipment,
materials and resources necessary to carry out the work and activities
undertaken. This includes reviewing the special reports developed by the
project teams and taking corrective action in the event of non-implementation
in accordance with the approved plans. Setting standards for monitoring all
activities of providing public cleaning services, resolving issuesrelated to contracts and managing related
risks.
Developing a risk management
system, quality and developing environmental, health and safety standards
related to the scope of work of the submitted projects to ensure the efficiency
of the management of those projects
Develop an expanded database that
includes all the range of services provided and project management tools
Keeping abreast of all new
professional developments in the provision of public hygiene services,
including technologies and systems, by
reviewing publications and practices, attending relevant seminars, and informing the contracts and projects officer and the concerned
management staff of these developments. And communicate and cooperate with
research and development bodies in this field to ensure the application of new
technologies and methods.
Develop and
nurture productive working relationships with the community through effective
communication with the public and stakeholders, including identifying their
needs and designing appropriate solutions to meet them, providing advice, and conducting
field visits.
Directing the
activities that take placein the
operating room,including supervising
the development and ensuring compliance with the service delivery schedule,
supervising the process of providing public hygiene services toensure efficiency and adherence to schedules
in order to preserve the environment and prevent environmental pollution. Encourage
the proper practices of the population in accordance with the policies and
instructions of the Department.
Supervising
investigations and preparing reports on illegal dumping of waste and
coordinating with the concerned authorities.
Bachelor of
Business Administration or equivalent, preferably MBA or equivalent.
Minimum 11-13
years of experience in a similar field.
