Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, specifically within the building construction sector. This role requires a professional who can contribute to innovative projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.

• Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems in buildings, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and local codes.
  
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the construction processes to ensure adherence to electrical designs and specifications.
  
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems effectively.
  
• Perform calculations for loads, wires sizing, and energy consumption to optimize electrical efficiency.
  
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents to support construction teams.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, providing technical guidance and support to construction teams.
  
• Ensure projects adhere to budgets and timelines, reporting regularly to management on progress.
  
• Stay abreast of the latest electrical engineering technologies and best practices, implementing them in projects to enhance performance and sustainability.
  
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout project lifecycles.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering within the UAE building construction sector.
  
• Proven track record of designing and implementing electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.
  
• Strong understanding of UAE’s electrical standards and building codes.
  

• Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP).
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
  
• Fluent in English, with Arabic being an advantage.
  

• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
  
• Willingness to travel to different project sites within the UAE.
  
• Must be currently located in the UAE or willing to relocate.
