ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are seeking a skilled Electric Inspector/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, inspection, and project management. As an Electric Inspector/Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems' safety, compliance, and performance in various projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting electrical inspections, evaluations, and audits to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.

• Reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements.

• Performing site visits, inspections, and testing of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.

• Identifying and resolving electrical issues, discrepancies, and non-conformities during construction and commissioning phases.

• Providing technical guidance, recommendations, and solutions to project teams and clients regarding electrical systems.

• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.

• Conducting risk assessments and safety inspections for electrical installations and equipment.

• Developing and maintaining documentation, reports, and records related to electrical inspections and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.

• 5-7 years of experience as an Electric Inspector/Engineer, preferably in a design consultancy or engineering firm.

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and testing equipment.

• Familiarity with building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices is desirable.
