Emirati Procurement Officer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our High Tech Health Solutions client as a procurement officer. You will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the quality of the materials and equipment that are essential for our company’s operations and projects.

• Assist with procurement strategies and policies that align with the company’s goals and standards
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers and vendors, ensuring optimal value and quality
• Help in the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate orders and invoices
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and compliance of suppliers and vendors, and resolve any issues or disputes
• Maintain and update records of procurement activities, contracts, inventory, and expenditures
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations on procurement matters to senior management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, quality, and finance to ensure the coordination and integration of procurement activities
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the procurement field and the high tech health industry

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a procurement officer or a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and standards
• Experience in sourcing and purchasing medical devices and software is a plus
