Perform daily inspections of all Entertainment Technical areas and report the findings and corrective actions needed. Ensuring SOP and Job plans are strictly followed
Make recommendations for upgrades and training requirements as needed
Supports the Entertainment Technical Senior Manager in managing the on-site Entertainment Technical Team.
Meet divisional goals and metrics & ensure safety, health, and environmental matters are followed and adhered to
Support and manage all events, including live shows
Assist in vendor selection and approve all designs ahead of project start-up
De-snag all open technical projects from third parties and manage and mitigate all-time losses and claims.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet Farah Leisure/industry standards
Lead the maintenance activities and distribute work to the team
Assist HR in its recruitment activities.
Conduct appraisals for team members and establish and set their KPIs.
Perform other duties as required.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Minimum five years experience in the AVLP or Maintenance Department
Hands-on installation experience
Related technical qualification
Proven ability in troubleshooting
Proven ability in day-to-day operational management
Problem-solving skills
Able to adhere to strict timelines
A clear understanding of both written and spoken English
Computer skills
Ability to understand one-line drawings and schematics
Able to spend long hours standing if required
Possess a firm knowledge of installation tools and can use them
Ability to lift at least 25 kg
Supervision of large teams with a minimum of 30 across multiple venues on one site
