We, at Mariani, are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Robotic Automation professional with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in utilizing Automation, PLC programing. in the food & beverage industry.
As our Automation Controls Technician, you will be responsible for providing high end, complex and effective automation and controls support to plant operations. The Automation Controls Technician must identify, troubleshoot, responsible for developing new products, sustaining current rig software applications, and fixing issues that are reported with the systems. Possess knowledge in the following areas: mechanical maintenance, automation, process instrumentation, PLC, HMI, and VFD’s. We’re looking for a candidate with manufacturing experience that has a passion for details and ensure quality work and products.
· Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the operation, capabilities, & limitations of complex controls/instrumentation.
· Skilled in troubleshooting controls and instrumentation problems on production and process equipment.
· Act as a resource for mechanics in identification and correction of potential equipment problems.
· Troubleshooting and maintaining production lines and/or batching/end of line equipment.
· Reads / translates the information found in PLC code,
· Understands PLC, HMI, VFD’s, servo, sensors, instrumentation, and industrial control systems including advanced programming techniques and configurations.
· Continuously maintains proficiency in Automation and controls systems.
· Work directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies.
· Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules, and all Company rules and policies.
· Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including immediately correcting or reporting safety issues to your supervisor.
· Read, understand, and comply with standard operating procedures and Safety Data Sheets.
· Identify and assist in the implementation of projects as required.
· Able to rapidly adapt to new situations and environments.
· Able to travel & work efficiently under time constraint.
. Able to travel to L4 risk coutries in Middle East (including Iran, Afghanistan)
