Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting at a Cafe or restaurants. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
4. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
5. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
6. Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial data for audits.
7. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
8. Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records.
9. Provide support to the senior accounting team as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. 1-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Knowledge of UAE tax regulations is a plus.
9. Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
