MANAGER - INVESTIGATIONS
Location: Dubai, AE A. POSITION PURPOSE :
To support the Group Head of Branch AUdit & Investigations in developing the branch investigations program using a risk-based approach in alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES :
• Evaluate incidents for patterns and trends to identify failures in policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Conduct all phases of investigations (start-to-end) related to alleged violations of the company's Code of Conduct, and other policies and procedures, and potential breech of regulations.
• Review customer complaints, queries, feedback to assess any evolving patterns in customer or staff behavior.
• Develop periodic system-based alert reports that highlight red flags and promptly investigate the same.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with internal business partners and key senior management persons.
C. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor’s degree holder
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Fraud Examiner are required
• At least 10 Years of relevant experience preferably in the financial services industry or Big4
• Comprehensive knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Expertise in leading and conducting complex forensic, fraud and other investigations
• Effectove communication, preentation, and interpersonal skills
• Able to effectively work with multicultural teams
• Highly analytical with great research skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
