Managing Director & Head of Non - Linear Trading

The Head of Non-Linear Trading is responsible for overseeing all non-linear trading activities within GM. This role involves managing a team of experienced traders and strategists, developing and implementing trading strategies, monitoring market trends, and optimizing risk and return profiles. The incumbent will collaborate closely with other departments, such as risk management, compliance, and technology, to ensure the successful execution of trading strategies and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Develop and refine non-linear trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve target returns.
• Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to monitor and control the risks associated with non-linear trading strategies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of traders and strategists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and geopolitical events that may impact non-linear trading strategies.
• Execution: Oversee the execution of trading orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution while optimizing trading costs.
• Technology Integration: Collaborate with technology teams to leverage cutting-edge tools and systems for efficient trade execution and analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field (advanced degrees such as an MBA or Ph.D. may be preferred).
• Min 15 years’ experience.
• Extensive experience in non-linear trading, including options trading, derivatives, and other complex financial instruments.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and risk management techniques
