Role Overview:

As a Marketing Communications Intern at MERIT, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in producing content and executing marketing strategies on digital platforms to drive business growth and brand awareness. You will work as part of our marketing team to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and contribute to the development of our brand on digital media.

• Using the company’s social media strategy to create engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Assist in content creation and management of our corporate blog, including writing, editing, and publishing posts.
• Film and edit videos for social media marketing purposes on Instagram and TikTok, such as office tours, employee interviews, and promotional clips.
• Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring all content is scheduled and organized in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report on social media trends and analytics, using insights to optimize future content strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and innovative.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help achieve corporate marketing goals.
• Engage with followers and respond to inquiries on social media platforms in a professional manner.
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
