About the job Modern Trade Salesman

Job Description: 


We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our Consumer Division team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in managing distribution channels for Modern Trade. Experience selling Baby & Personal Care products is advantageous. .


Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the modern trade sector.
  2. Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the Division & Sales Manager.
  3. Plan and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  4. Manage the distribution of our products in assigned territories, ensuring availability and visibility on shelves.
  5. Conduct negotiations with customers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  7. Utilize Oracle and CRM systems for order processing, customer management, and reporting.
  8. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  9. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing product features, benefits, and promotional offers.
  10. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  11. Stay updated on industry developments, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
  12. Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues or complaints from customers.

Requirements:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a focus on managing distribution channels for Modern Trade.
  3. Experience selling Baby & Personal Care products is preferred.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence key decision-makers.
  7. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
  8. Proficiency in Oracle and CRM software.
  9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  10. Innovative and creative mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  11. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  12. Must own a car and possess a valid UAE driving license.
