Switching , ccnp , routing , cisco asa , network security engineer , wan , firewall , ccna; Role Description Firewall lifecycle management design, config, code upgrades, rule management. Must Have Skills Strong Communication Skills, Presentation Skills and Interpersonal Skills. Good To Have Skills CCNA/ CCNP, Certification in any firewall. Key Responsibilities Good understanding on data-center network and compute architecture. Solid understanding of industry-standard network FW design principals and best practices. Manage and resolve networking issues at time of problem detection. Tier IV firewall support (setting up captures, application work flows, syslog, etc.), especially on Check point & Cisco ASA. Experience in designing a security for application architecture and flows. Co-ordinate plan and execute Change Management procedures. Help in troubleshooting customers network and security issues. Research industry best practices and make recommendations. Good understanding on WAN routing, Data center connectivity and LAN switching. Experience on security compliance for applications. Good understanding on load balancers (Net scalers) and application monitoring tolls like Splunk etc. Professional Attributes Management and configuration of firewall & IPS Technology. Handle the day to day firewall & IPS operational issues. Initial firewall/IPS testing of parameters, operation, support and commissioning.
