Job Title: Nurse - LASIK Center

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse in LASIK center, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care throughout their LASIK surgery experience. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

1. Preoperative Assessment:
   • Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, including patient history, visual acuity measurements, and dilation of pupils.
   • Educate patients about the LASIK procedure, including potential risks, benefits, and postoperative care instructions.
   • Address any patient concerns or questions regarding the surgery.
2. Assistance During Surgery:
   • Assist ophthalmologists during LASIK procedures by providing necessary instruments and medications.
   • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the surgery.
   • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
3. Postoperative Care:
   • Monitor patients immediately following surgery and provide postoperative instructions.
   • Assess and manage any postoperative complications or discomfort.
   • Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to evaluate patients' healing progress.
4. Documentation and Recordkeeping:
   • Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.
5. Patient Education:
   • Provide ongoing education to patients regarding eye health, postoperative care, and lifestyle modifications.
   • Address any concerns or questions patients may have about their vision or surgical outcomes.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license of DHA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
