Job responsibilities for a Community Engagement Officer 


1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the community engagement office, including scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks.


2. Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, stakeholders, and external partners regarding community engagement initiatives.


3. Assist in the development and implementation of community engagement strategies, programs, and events.


4. Coordinate outreach efforts to promote community engagement opportunities and increase participation.


5. Support the planning and execution of community events, meetings, and activities to facilitate connections and foster relationships.


6. Maintain accurate records, databases, and communication systems to track community engagement activities and outcomes.


7. Assist in the recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers to support community initiatives and programs.


8. Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure alignment of community engagement efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.


9. Prepare reports, presentations, and materials to communicate the impact and success of community engagement activities to stakeholders.


10. Stay up-to-date on best practices, trends, and developments in community engagement to enhance office operations and outcomes.


Qualifications:


1. High school bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


2. Minimum 3 years previous experience in client relations & Community Engagement, community engagement, or relevant positions is preferred.


3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and community members.


4. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with social media platforms.


6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a customer-centric mindset.
