Production Manager

We are hiring for a leading manufacturer specializing in trailers, mixer trucks, cement bulker storage silo truck bodies, tanks, and tanker cargo bodies. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee vehicle manufacturing, modification, troubleshooting, and cutting operations at our facility in Ajman.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of vehicle manufacturing, modification, and assembly processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to plan and execute production activities according to specifications and requirements.
• Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including welders, fabricators, assemblers, and technicians, to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on manufactured products to identify and address any defects or issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve production-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor and control production costs, material usage, and labor expenses to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with maintenance and logistics teams to ensure availability of equipment, tools, and materials needed for production operations.
• Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and analysis to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in vehicle manufacturing or modification.
• Proven track record of overseeing vehicle assembly, modification, troubleshooting, and cutting operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of production staff.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices in the automotive or related industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production management software.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
