Job Summary: The Project Delivery Manager for the Treasury Management System (TMS) is responsible for leading and managing the successful implementation and delivery of treasury management projects. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, clients, and internal team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The Project Delivery Manager will play a critical role in understanding client requirements, translating them into project plans, and overseeing the execution of these plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Strategy:
Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and ensure project success.
Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
Allocate resources and tasks to team members based on skills and project requirements.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
4. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor and manage project risks, escalating issues as needed to senior management.
Implement and maintain a risk management plan throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to address deviations from project plans.
6. Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Optimize resource utilization and allocate budget effectively to meet project objectives.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, issue logs, and change requests.
Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
Proven experience in project management, specifically in the delivery of Treasury Management Systems or financial software projects.
Strong understanding of treasury management processes, financial instruments, and banking operations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
Previous experience with implementing or managing TMS, FinTech, SaaS, ERP or Financial Systems is a plus
Implementation knowledge of treasury management systems, for example Kyriba, SAP, IT2, FIS Quantum, FIS Integrity and other related tools such as SWIFT
