About the job:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will have the overall responsibility to ensure that the facilities are fully operational with all utilities are functioning properly, the building systems and equipment are in regulatory compliance, and that relevant areas of the facilities are maintained at a high level of standards. Specifically, this position will have the responsibility to operate, inspect, maintain, validate/calibrate, and repair on an on-going basis all of the buildings utilities, air-conditioning, water, electrical, drainage/waste, building structure, process and security systems. This position will also responsible for all equipment maintenance, will be communicating with contractors, studying proposals and providing support to all departments in the company.
The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Review job requests and work orders daily to determine work load priorities.

- Supervise corrective and preventive maintenance activities on MEP systems to provide continuous supply of HVAC, electricity, gas, and other utilities required for operations.

- Perform routine facility inspections for conformance with operational and safety requirements and standards.

- Implement, monitor, and follow policies and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and provide efficient use of labor and materials.

- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.

- Follow strict tool control and other company and client policies.

- Provide training and orientation of workers to improve work performance, provide safety, and acquaint workers with company and client policies and procedures.

- Inform and confers with supervisor to resolve maintenance problems and personnel issues and recommends measures to improve operations.

- Keep supervisor informed of the progress and status of all open work orders, projects, staff attendance, and other activities to help ensure adequate use of resources and timely completion of work orders in a cost effective manner.

- Become familiar with and ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and standards.

- Interact professionally with the public, vendors and staff; maintains effective working relationships and works in cooperation with the site management team to effectively meet client and company objectives.

- Respond to all emergencies as requested.

- Prepare records, reports, and other documentation related to work performed as requested.

- Evaluate staff and makes promotional and disciplinary recommendations; ensures staff is trained in complex maintenance activities and is following established, standard operating procedures.

About the Business
Description and Desired Qualifications
The Halcrow Urban Water team deals with a range of public and private sector clients and provides specialist technical advisory and project management services on water industry projects in the Middle East. Due to continued growth and opportunities we are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer with extensive design management experience in water projects to join our team in the UAE.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of water projects and will, therefore, have extensive experience in design review and project management of major water projects. You will play a key role in the development of new business as well as the tender preparation process; the ability to provide technical and commercial / contractual input is critical. As the interface between key stakeholders, which include the Client and various Government Departments, excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills are essential. Both English and Arabic language skills are key to this role. Due to the nature and locations of the projects, travel is a major component of the role and, therefore, applicants must be willing to spend regular periods away from their home base.

Basic Qualifications

The Position:
Manage and control the entire processing and accounting function for revenue related transactions through the RAPID system and process billings to/from external parties, so that all revenues, receivables and payables are correctly established and accounted for in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Passenger, Cargo, Interline Billing, Fare-audit and Large Bureaus
Control and co-ordinate the information flow in the RAPID system to ensure all foreground and background jobs in RAPID are fired promptly and that information in the system is processed in a timely manner and downloaded to other systems (such as C View and NPAS) for further MIS processing.
Schedule and co-ordinate the receipt and sorting of inward documents and physically allocate these documents amongst the teams for processing.
Collect, collate and despatch documentation with proper supporting documents to all external parties ? IATA, other airlines, credit card companies, postal authorities, GSAs, area offices, agents to complete the billing formalities efficiently.
Develop and maintain a monitoring system to measure team and individual output on a daily basis.
Monitor and analyse the teams output to identify reasons for being below target and take corrective action to improve the overall productivity of operations.
Identify and evaluate revenue accounting issues and provide recommendations to senior management for value added changes to the processes to ensure efficiency.
Plan, develop and manage the work flow of the teams to maximise productivity.
