Work Experience 5+ years A minimum of 5 years of Sake Sommelier experience in a Luxury Hotel environment in the UAE.
A recognized sake certification such as Certified Sake Professional (CSP), Advanced Sake Professional (ASP), Sake Sommelier or their equivalent is preferred . A proven track record of creating and maintaining a successful Sake Programme, with demonstrated expertise in sake Selection, Education, and Service.
Deep appreciation for sake Culture, History, and Craftsmanship.
Sophisticated Knowledge and Understanding of Japanese Sake, including different types, regions, brewing methos, flavour profiles and serving techniques, taking every opportunity to educate both Guests and Fellow ‘FIVERs.’
Extensive knowledge of sake brands and the ability to discern quality and authenticity.
Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook, while possessing an exceptional knowledge of Hotel PMS, specifically Opera.
An energetic Conversationalist, engaging Guests with lively discussions.
A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensuring every aspect of the Operation is curated to perfection.
