The role:


STARZPLAY is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Senior Manager to join our Advertising Department. You will be responsible for overseeing and leading advertising activities within the organization for TV, print, radio and digital for governmental and private clients based in Abu Dhabi. This pivotal role involves developing and executing advertising strategies, and collaborating with clients to deliver effective advertising campaigns. The Senior Manager drives business growth through innovative advertising solutions and ensures exceptional service delivery.


Job Responsibilities:


  1. Advertising Sales:
  • Manage 360 ad sales for TV, Radio, Print & Digital to clients and agencies in Abu Dhabi
  • Liaise with direct clients to understand their marketing needs and propose appropriate advertising solutions from within our portfolio to them
  • Liaise with media buying agencies to ensure that we are always top-of-mind with them and to grab our fair share from each campaign
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline that delivers on target
  1. Client Relationships:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising needs and provide tailored solutions.
  1. Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the execution of advertising campaigns across various media channels.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget in line with pre-agreement with clients and agencies
  1. Market Research and Trends:
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advertising innovations.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in advertising strategies.
  1. Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate advertising contracts, rates, and terms with media outlets and advertising partners.
  • Ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.

Qualifications:          


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in advertising sales with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience selling TV, radio, print publications or outdoor in Abu Dhabi. This role is for candidates who have been based in Abu Dhabi and are employed in a similar role based in Abu Dhabi.
  • Ability to make advertising proposals and close sales in line with monthly targets
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of advertising trends, media channels, and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven approach.
