Black & Grey HR is seeking a Senior Architect to join a renowned civil engineering and construction firm operating in the UAE and Gulf region. Renowned for its innovative design and build solutions, our client has recently secured a prestigious mega-building project in Dubai. As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in this venture, contributing your expertise to shape the architectural vision and ensure the successful execution of this landmark project.The client's completed, managed projects encompass various sectors such as Hospitality, Residential, Commercial, Historical, Educational, Institutional, Industrial, Healthcare, Leisure & Retail.
Responsibilities:- Lead the architectural design process for assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions that integrate architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, identify constraints, and propose innovative solutions that optimize space utilization and functionality.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including conceptual sketches, renderings, and 3D models, to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities for approval and feedback.
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and other construction documentation to verify conformance with design intent, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Monitor construction progress, attend site meetings, and provide technical support to address design-related issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality control throughout the construction phase.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, materials, and technologies in architecture, civil engineering, and construction to enhance design innovation and efficiency.
- Mentor junior architects and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to support their growth and advancement within the company.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., Registered Architect) is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management within the civil engineering and construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards applicable to the UAE and Gulf region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites within the UAE and Gulf region as required.
