Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for
assigned projects or facilities.
Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA
studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure
compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory
changes in the UAE.
Provide technical advice and guidance to other HSE
professionals and line managers.
Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and
investigations to identify and address non-conformities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE
regulations (e.g., ADNOC, API).
Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills
Proficiency in HSE software applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership
skills.
Sound training and presentation skills
Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE
management systems.
Proven experience of conducting safety skills and awareness
training programs.
Requirements
Class 1 Consultant and/or Contractor experience.
Profound familiarity with ADNOC group standards.
Previous experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or
department.
Excellent understanding of Process Safety.
Good understanding of Environmental Safety &
Occupational Safety.
Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA,
Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis.
Preference will be given to candidates approved
by regulatory bodies or OPCOs.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years relevant experience is required
Minimum
8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer level
Preference
for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companies
Qualification
(minimum) - Bachelor degree
in Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an
equivalent qualification is desirable.
