As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s presence on various social media platforms, engaging with followers and accurately depicting the company’s products, services and culture. Social media channels include Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc. You will be responsible for creating gripping content, analysing public feedback, and reporting on the effects of each key undertaking.


In this role, you will:


  • Develop and execute social media strategy leveraging existing and emerging social media platforms;
  • Interact cross-functionally with brand marketing, design, product and sales to develop detailed briefs, and editorial content calendars for social channels;
  • Help ideate creative campaign ideas that will resonate with our audience and deliver our objective;
  • Plan and execute social media strategy by making use of competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience and influencer identification;
  • Help to guide the strategy aimed at different audience segments;
  • Be the eyes and ears of the brand across the entire social space;
  • Monitor conversations across social media, discover trending topics relevant to the product and address important mentions;
  • Create and script videos and shorts for our social media channels.
  • Be comfortable and confident in front of the camera;
  • Discover community needs, build and manage a pool of influencers per platform;
  • Generate insights and provide recommendations to optimise community management;
  • Create and provide reports on a regular cadence, with analysis and actionable insights;
  • Monitor conversations across competitors, partners and other relevant groups;
  • Collaborate across different areas of the organisation to ensure user feedback is being heard and acted upon;
  • Maintain regular community interaction on all channels - responses, feedback, etc.;
  • Manage up, ensuring proper packaging of assets and proactively thinking ahead of potential needs and questions.
