Job Role Summary:
The People Head is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The People Head provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.
Oversee the entire HR Operations of the company and is responsible for Talent Management, attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support the company's growth and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
2. Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
3. Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
4. Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
5. Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
Key Recruitment Responsibilities & Duties entails: –
a. Collaborate with the HR Recruiter, manager, team to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions. Source and screen candidates using various recruiting tools, including social media, job boards, and professional network and forums.
b. Conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
c. Manage the candidate experience, including scheduling interviews, providing feedback, and extending job offers.
d. Partner with HR Team or Executive Team to develop effective interview techniques and ensure that they are evaluating candidates objectively and fairly.
e. Collaborate with HR team on onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
f. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all candidate interactions and hiring activities.
g. Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment metrics and progress to the CEO & Executive Team.
