Proposal Development Coordinator Job - RTI, International

RTI International’s Governance and Stabilization Team is currently accepting applications for the position Program Development Coordinator (PDC). RTI manages international development projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, and others. The PDC will be responsible for a broad range of administrative, business development, and operational activities in support of the program.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the PDC will work as a member of the Governance and Stabilization Team, and with individuals outside of the program, as appropriate, to further the program’s goals. This position will be based in RTI’s offices in either the Research Triangle Park, NC or in Washington, DC.

Regional PSFR Officer Job - UNHCR

The incumbent is responsible for providing Americas support for Individual Giving recruitment programmes across the region in line with the Global Individual Giving Strategy. A key part of the role will be to ensure the development of individual givnig in the United States and Canada and best practices and materials are used effectively across all the region through all PSFR fundraising and communication channels, including Face-to-Face, Digital, Telemarketing and Direct Mail fundraising. The incumbent will be the focal point for Individual Giving Recruitment projects in the Americas as assigned by the Senior Regional PSFR Officer.
The position¿s supervisor will be the Senior Regional PSFR Officer - Americas who is tasked with developing PSFR in the Americas. The post will deputize for this manager as and when requested. The incumbent will work with the Global Fundraising Development Officer in London if required for specific individual giving projects and staff in the Americas region, with a focus on Canada, the United States and the US Association for UNHCR.
The Regional PSFR Officer (Americas) will seek approval for the Americas Individual Giving Recruitment Support plan and budget before the start of the year and once approved will be given the authority to manage the budget and agreed activities. Any significant deviation from the agreed plan or budget must first be approved by the Senior Regional PSFR Officer.
The Regional PSFR Officer (Americas) will also provide support and to the development of Leadership Giving in Canada and the United States as required as well as assisting both countries in the preparation of their Annual Fundraising Plans.
- Agreed annual budget and plans for agreed projects are achieved.
- Individual Giving income growth appropriately managed.
- Oversight of the annual Individual Giving recruitment expenditure budget regionally ensured.
- Regional Representative in Washington and the Representative in Canada are fully briefed and consulted on all relevant PSFR developments. Develop strong materials, training and tests in the Americas existing and new markets;
- Ensurs that best practice and learning for Individual Giving Recruitment are developed in key regional markets such as the United States and is transferred to existing and new markets in the Americas;
- Keep oversight of the Individual fundraising recruitment projects regionally and ensuring earmarking of income is kept to a minimum;
- Keep oversight of individual giving program results regionally in order to ensure low donor attrition levels in year one and high return of investment of Individual Giving programs and results stay within agreed benchmarks in the first 12 months of giving;
- Provide Individual Giving Training, workshops, lead working groups and provide on the job support to Individual Giving staff both in the region and globally as needed;
- Support Individual Giving recruitment activities in new markets
- Support Individual Giving recruitment and cash donation campaigns during emergencies including regional markets where there is no PSFR continuous staff presence;
- Support the development of inhouse and outsourced F2F, DRTV and Digital program recruitment models;
- Support the Fundraising Development team in developing Digital, DRTV and other multi-country recruitment programmes;
- Develop and improve welcome and early donor care programs with the regional Fundraising Development team in order to maximise the lifetime value of Individual Giving;
- Analyse and feedback with the regional analyst¿s consultancy support to the US National Association and other country programs and plans in the region for Individual Giving Recruitment, investments, donor development as well as monitoring quarterly reports and results across the region;
- Support PSFR partners in the region (and globally as requested) with submissions to the Income Growth Fund to secure funding to increase the donor base of private sector;

BASIC FUNCTION:

Maintains active current awareness in Organization community on telecommunications industry trends and assessments of new and changing technologies. Provides technical guidance and consultation on technical issues such as: voice/data telecommunications implementation and support, SDH/NGN systems, recovery plans, risk assessment and use of new and emerging switched telecommunications technologies. Provides necessary documentation for the smooth implementation of new technologies. Active participant in the strategic planning for future capabilities in support of remote, on site and wide area networks and the use of high speed/bandwidth local area networks.

SUPERVISION:
Provides direct supervision and development of own staff of telecommunications analysts, programmers and engineers. Works closely with other organization Managers and personnel as appropriate.
