Time

The UAE is 4 hours ahead of the Universal Coordinated Time- UCT (or GMT previously). Daylight saving system is not applicable in the UAE.

Electricity

The electricity supply in Dubai is 220/240 volts and 50 cycles. The UK originated three pin plug is widely used and adaptors are available for quite affordable prices.

Weather

Winter temperatures are around 23 degrees C in the daytime, while nights are cooler.

Summer temperatures are in the mid-40s and soar higher the further inland you go. Even the temperature of the sea can reach 37 degrees C.

The most ideal time to visit Dubai is the cooler winter months (October to March). That would be the perfect time to enjoy the beach and the outdoor dinners and rides as the weather largely remains mildly cool and it never gets too cold for the abundant outdoors facilities and pastimes.
