Established in 1929, Holcim Lebanon, in affiliation with Holcim Ltd, is one of the leading cement companies in Lebanon and operates the largest cement kiln in the country. The plant and head office are situated in Chekka, North of Lebanon and products are distributed to customers all over the country and exported to neighboring countries.
In addition to a grey cement plant, Holcim Lebanon operates a white cement plant through its subsidiary in Chekka, Société Libanaise des Ciments Blancs (SLCB), the only producer of white cement in Lebanon. It also runs four concrete plants in Nahr El Mott, Kfarchima, Chekka and Tyr along with a grinding station located in Northern Cyprus.
The cement plant is certified ISO 9001 for its quality management system and ISO 14001 for the environmental management system. Our cement is in compliance with the Lebanese Standard, NL 53:1999.
