Fayha is a leading water bottler in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. Fayha Water Company Limited (“Fayha”) was originally established under the name of Fayha Al-Qassim Water Factory, as a branch to Al-Rajhi Holding, and registered in the Commercial Registry in the City of Unaizah under Commercial Registration Certificate No. 1128004829, dated 21/12/1414H (corresponding to 01/06/1994G). The name was subsequently changed to Fayha Water Company Limited on 01/01/1430H (corresponding to 29/12/2008G), after the conversion of the branch into a limited liability company. The shared capital of Fayha upon its conversion into a limited liability company was SR 47 million. The paid-up capital of Fayha is SR 142 million.
The company has four factories in the whole kingdom; they are located in Riyadh, Qassim, Abha and Qunfudah. Total production of the company is 1300 million liters. In addition, two factories in Riyadh with more than 2000 employees for the production of Lignin are providing plastic support for the four factories.
The company started by producing healthy water in Qassim in 1995, in cooperation with the French company Perrier under the Fayha Water trademark, then under Fayha. The history of the production started with the manufacturing, bottling and distribution of 5 gallon polycarbonate containers in the Qassim area, then in different areas in the kingdom. The factory was further expanded by adding two production lines using US technology to manufacture and bottle 1 gallon and half gallon polyethylene containers
