Arabian Amines Co. (AMINAT) is a 50/50 joint venture between Zamil Chemical & Plastic Holding Co. and The Huntsman Corporation.
-The plant capacity for the Ethylene-amines is 27,215 MTPA. Distributed to a different 8grades of produce, equipped with utilities unit.
-The EDC technology used for the plant is well proven and provided by Huntsman.
-Main feedstock is EDC 55,000 MTPA, Caustic Soda 43,000 DMTPA and Ammonia13.300 MTPA. N2 is sourced from GAS, Sales gas (NG) is supplied from ARAMCO and Power is supplied by SEC 34.5 KV network.
-Sea water for Closed Cooling water and potable water are coming from RC,Marafiq and SAHARA respectively.
-Main feed stock is EDC 55,000 MTPA, Caustic Soda 43,000 DMTPA and Ammonia13.300 MTPA.
-The shipping mode is through ISO containers and Drums using Dammam Commercial Port.
-Plant construction started from April 2008, was commissioned on 17 May 2010 and quality Ethylene Di Amine has been obtained on 22 May 2010.
