UASC is jointly owned by six Arab states, namely Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and Bahrain. Although UASC is headquartered in Kuwait, its corporate office, including its commercial and operational functions, is based in Dubai. Globally, the company’s business is managed through four regional offices in Singapore, London, Dubai and New Jersey.
Currently ranked among the top 20 global container carriers in terms of capacity, UASC operates 47 container vessels and roughly 400,000 TEU on 14 services. UASC also offers chemical and bulk transport services. Building on nearly 35 years of reliable service, UASC has earned its name as a market leader in Middle East related trades and continues to expand globally. UASC currently employs over 2,000 staff in 20 countries.
