Aerated Concrete Industries Company (ACICO) was established in June 1990 as a Kuwait Shareholding Closed Company (K.S.C.C.) under license from Hebel International Germany. ACICO uses the cost effective building system using a lighter yet highly resistant material called Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) from Hebel . ACICO became a leading agent for Hebel in the GCC producing all Hebel reinforced and non-reinforced building units. The company's business has gone far beyond the boundary of Kuwait to reach other GCC Countries. Plants are located in the State of Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Other spheres and some projects are: 1. ACICO Hotel & Hospitality Services: Al Gal Hotel in Dubai , Fujairah Resort 2. ACICO Real Estate & Construction: ACICO Building in Kuwait, ACICO Business Park - Dubai, Nasima Tower – Dubai 3. GAK: ACICO acquired 75% of Ghassan Ahmad Al Khaled Company Co. (GAK), . to enter in the field of construction and now occupies a privileged position. 4. ACICO Cement: ACICO purchased Kuwaiti United Company for Concrete Systems (KUPS), a Kuwaiti share-holding ‘closed’ company. The company is located in a strategic location in the industrial zone in the port of Shuaiba, Kuwait. Moreover, we have installed high-tech factories run by computer for manufacturing readymade concrete which brings added value to our customers. The plant is equipped with German technology and is consistent with our objective of concern for the environment with the production of the best quality. It is part of the ACICO's strategy to achieve self-sufficiency in most of the raw materials producing major and vital industry, to be prepared to expand and adapt to the changing nature of our consumers and products.
