About Al Bustan Rotana Hotel

Rotana History In 1993 the Rotana Hotel Management Corporation Limited was founded by the former Abu Dhabi Under-Secretary of the UAE Ministry of Finance and Industry, H.E. Nasser Al Nowais as chairman and Selim El Zyr as President and Chief Executive Officer. Operating as Rotana Hotels it opened its first property in Abu Dhabi in 1993 and is today one of the leading operator of hotels within the Middle East. Rotana Hotels is a company offering the best of both worlds. Rotana Hotels' aggressive expansion plans have seen the company grow from 2 properties in 1993 to a total of 17 by the end of the year 2000. With several further properties planned for opening within the next 2 years and new projects in the pipeline, this confirms the company's intention to have a Rotana managed property in all the major cities throughout the Middle East by within the next five years. Rotana Hotels' mission statement is simple to be the leading Middle Eastern hotel chain'. This is being achieved through a combination of international know-how and local experience. With marginal mobilisation costs, owners benefit from fees that are consistently less than those of international competitors and with no hidden corporate charge of services. Maintaining a realistic approach to business is an integral element of the Rotana business philosophy. 'Getting it right' at a particular property before moving on to a new project is the standard, and this is attained through the maximisation of Rotana'
